Purpose
Project Lend-a-Hand, or uniquely termed as Project L.A.H is driven to empower students in making a difference in the community through lending their hands to offer hope and help to others.
We encapsulate this through the acronym S-E-R-V-E (as depicted above).

People
This project is brought to you proudly by the Year 1 students from the Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Development (ECDE), as well as Diploma in Tamil Studies with Early Education (TSE) conducted by the National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) in collaboration with the School of Humanities & Social Sciences (HMS), Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Process
Driven by the students' initiatives (and guided by our Year 1 Class Mentors and Year 2 Student Mentors), this project is fully steered by them - from engaging community partners and preparing proposals to volunteering their time to serve the people in need of a helping hand. Throughout these processes, they are constantly engaged in reflective conversations to foster deeper understanding and appreciation of self, others and the community.
